A Visit with Mrs. Claus
Ms. Schwartz and Ms. Walker's classes got a special treat when they had they opportunity to listen to a story read by Mrs. Claus and answer questions and riddles. They were then able to ask Mrs. Claus questions. Students were able to not only interact with Mrs. Claus, but other classes from DFT and Lago Vista. Ms. Grimes and Ms. Saunder's classes are eagerly awaiting their turn to meet with Mrs. Claus next week.

4th grade students still benefit from teacher in her absence
While the teacher was away, students were still able to focus on academics. The teacher video a lesson on how to create a Patty Paper "protractor" and how to use the new tool while she was away from the classroom. This allowed the substitute to pause the video when students needed extra time and to rewind for students to hear the information again using the vocabulary and concepts of the classroom teacher.
