Wellness, Cooking & Technology

Poetry Online

ReadWriteThink at http://www.readwritethink.org is a fantastic resource and tool for teachers and students.  Second Grade students created online Acrostic Poems to go along with their poetry unit.  Check out Payton's Poem.

Preparing for STAAR goes interactive

As classes prepare for the upcoming STAAR Tests, they get interactive with Promethean Boards and Voting Devices.  Here are just a few examples of a 5th Grade Science, 4th and 3rd Grade Math Review Flipcharts.  Using the voting devices is a great way for teachers to get instant feedback on what skills need further review.

5th Grade on StemScopes

As part of the Fifth Grade Science Curriculum, Students are exploring StemScopes interactive Science website. This site has great activities, lesson and media to support the RRISD standards aligned curriculum. Ask a Fifth Grader about the site!
